  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until well mixed. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
  4. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Let brownies cool completely before preparing the frosting.
  7. Beat cream cheese and softened butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and mix well.
