Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package frozen chicken, vegetable, or tofu potstickers (about 1215 dumplings)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • Optional: chili flakes, sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large nonstick skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add frozen potstickers flat side down and cook for about 2–3 minutes until golden.
  2. Add ¼ cup water to the skillet, cover, and steam for another 5–6 minutes until cooked through. Remove potstickers and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining sesame oil and toss in broccoli, carrots, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add minced garlic, ginger, and white parts of green onions; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or brown sugar), and optional chili flakes. Pour over vegetables in the skillet and toss to coat.
  6. Return potstickers to the skillet and gently stir to combine all ingredients; simmer for about 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green onion tops and sesame seeds before serving hot.
