  • 1 can Great Northern or cannellini beans (drained)
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • Olive oil
  • Seasonings (dried basil, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper)
  • Parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  3. Add diced onion, celery, and carrots; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Stir in crushed garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Season with dried basil, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Mix in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth; bring to a boil. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Add drained beans and maintain a vigorous boil.
  7. Stir in ditalini pasta; simmer for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
