  • 3/4 cup coarsely ground dark roast coffee
  • 3 cups cold filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup barista-style oat milk
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large mason jar, combine 3/4 cup coarsely ground dark roast coffee with 3 cups cold filtered water. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours to steep.
  3. Strain the cold brew through a fine mesh strainer into a clean pitcher, discarding the grounds.
  4. For the lavender syrup, heat 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Let steep off heat for 30 minutes before straining.
  5. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice. Pour in 3/4 cup cold brew concentrate per glass, add 1-2 tablespoons lavender syrup, and top with 1/2 cup oat milk.
