  • 2 tablespoons dry minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar (for sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to 350°F and set up for indirect cooking.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the beef ribs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the rub ingredients and generously coat the ribs.
  4. Place ribs on the grill over indirect heat and cook for about 1 hour.
  5. Flip the ribs and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Combine sauce ingredients in another bowl and whisk until smooth.
  7. After cooking, generously apply the honey-garlic sauce to both sides of the ribs.
  8. Move ribs to direct heat and grill for an additional 3 to 5 minutes per side to caramelize the sauce.
  9. Let resting for about 5 minutes before serving.
