  • 680 g chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 4 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 60 ml chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh chives (for garnish)
  • 454 g linguine
  • 90 g heavy cream
  • 100 g grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, coat chicken pieces with cajun seasoning, paprika, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter; sauté garlic until fragrant. Add broth and lemon juice, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return chicken to skillet; stir to coat in sauce.
  5. Cook linguine as per package instructions; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  6. In another pot, melt butter over medium heat; add garlic, then cream, bringing it to a boil. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Combine drained linguine with cream sauce; mix well.
  8. Serve immediately topped with Bouchées Poulet Citron, extra parmesan, and chives.
