- 5 cooking apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup melted vegan butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and melted vegan butter. Mix until crumbly.
- In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice until well coated.
