  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until golden brown and fragrant. Let it cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the semi-sweet and mini chocolate chips.
  5. For thicker cookies, chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
