  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled turkey bacon (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 5 minutes, then add minced garlic and diced jalapeños for another 2 minutes.
  2. Add chicken breasts and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked.
  3. Remove chicken, shred with forks, and return to the pot.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Incorporate cream cheese until smooth, then mix in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. For extra flavor, you can add crumbled turkey bacon if desired. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes before serving hot.
