  • lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 23 jalapeños (finely diced)
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet or loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, blend cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Flatten the meat mixture into a rectangle and spread the jalapeño filling in the center. Roll the meat over the filling to form a loaf.
  5. Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Optionally add extra cheese on top during the last few minutes of baking.
  6. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
