  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix ground beef with breadcrumbs until combined. Add milk, egg, garlic powder, and seasonings; stir until well mixed.
  2. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan. Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of the pan. Spread the cheese mixture over it and top with the remaining meat mixture.
  4. Brush the top with barbecue sauce. Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
