  • 17.5 ounce package chocolate chip cookie mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 24 Oreos
  • 16 ounces (2 8-ounce packages) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ⅓ cups rough chopped Oreos (divided)
  • Caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate chip cookie mix, softened butter, and 1 egg until well mixed; press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Evenly layer 24 Oreos on top of the cookie dough.
  4. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, cornstarch, sour cream, and remaining eggs until smooth; fold in chopped Oreos.
  5. Spread cheesecake mixture over the Oreos, sprinkle with more chopped Oreos, and bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
  6. Let cool to room temperature then refrigerate for at least three hours before cutting into squares.
