  • 3 lbs shrimp (shelled and deveined tail-on)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1.5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for about 30 minutes.
  2. Rinse shrimp and pat dry.
  3. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, melted butter, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice; set aside some for basting.
  4. Combine shrimp with most of the marinade and thread onto soaked skewers.
  5. Preheat grill to medium heat and grill skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side while brushing with reserved marinade until shrimp is pink and opaque.
