Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups fresh peaches (peeled and diced)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit until frothy. Mix in melted butter, salt, egg, and half the flour. Gradually add remaining flour while kneading for about 6–8 minutes until soft and slightly sticky. Let rise in a greased bowl for about an hour.
  2. For the peach filling, cook peaches with sugars, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice over medium heat until thickened; cool.
  3. Mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon to create a spreadable paste.
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread cinnamon filling evenly, top with peach mixture, roll tightly into a log, and cut into pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Cover and let rise again for about 30–40 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  6. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
