  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth (or milk)
  • 2 large eggs (whisked)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 23 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 23 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a loaf pan with foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, broth, whisked eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared pan.
  4. Mix ketchup (and/or BBQ sauce) with brown sugar and spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
