  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, brown sugar, salt, and oats until crumbly. Reserve half for topping.
  3. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix sliced apples with lemon juice; add mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Spread apple filling over the crust and sprinkle with reserved crumble topping.
  6. Bake for about 60–75 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm or at room temperature.
