Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T fresh lime juice
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 T olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Trim excess fat from the flank steak and rub both sides with your favorite steak rub.
  3. Place the steak in a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove the steak from the fridge and let it come to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
  5. Preheat your grill to high heat (450-500°F).
  6. Grill the steak for about 3 minutes on one side until grill marks appear; rotate for another 3 minutes.
  7. Flip the steak and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
  8. Remove from the grill, cover with foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
