  • 6 oz spinach (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese (pre-shredded)
  • 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. If using fresh spinach, wash thoroughly; if using frozen, ensure it’s thawed and drained.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine sautéed garlic with spinach, cream cheese, and heavy cream; blend until smooth.
  4. Add parmesan cheese and white cheddar; season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder; mix well.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with Panko crumbs and melted butter. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
