  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp plant-based gelling agent (like agar-agar)

Instructions

  1. Heat-treat the flour in a microwave-safe bowl by microwaving on high for 1 minute, stirring halfway.
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the heat-treated flour and plant-based gelling agent. Gradually mix into the butter mixture until well combined.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
