Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ⅓ cups warm water
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (for garlic mixture)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup parsley (minced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm water, yeast, sugar, melted butter, salt, and garlic powder. Let sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Gradually mix in flour and knead for about 7 minutes until you have a soft dough. Form into a ball and let it rise in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. Once risen, cut the dough into logs and shape each into a knot.
  5. Place shaped knots on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and whisk in minced garlic, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, sea salt, pepper, and parsley.
  7. Brush the knots generously with the garlic butter mixture before baking for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
