  • 1 cup water
  • 23 sliced fresh peaches
  • 3 tea bags (black or your choice)
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  1. Make the Syrup: Boil sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan. Reduce heat, crush sliced peaches into the mixture, and stir until sugar dissolves completely. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Steep the Tea: Turn off heat and cover the syrup mixture for 30 minutes. In another pot, boil 6 cups of water and steep 3 tea bags for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine: Remove tea bags and refrigerate the brewed tea until chilled. Strain the syrup into a pitcher to discard peach pieces, then mix with chilled tea.
  4. Serve: Pour over ice and enjoy!
