  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté diced bell pepper and onion in olive oil until softened; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in cooled vegetables gently until just incorporated.
  5. Shape the mixture into 4-5 mini loaves and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the glaze made from ketchup, chili sauce, and maple syrup over each loaf.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest before serving.
