  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
  4. In another bowl, mix beef broth and French onion soup mix; pour over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. In the last 15 minutes, add mozzarella cheese on top to melt before serving.
