  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
  • 1 cup dark (semisweet) chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon powdered (icing) sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry as per package instructions (about 30 minutes at room temperature).
  2. Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cut each sheet of thawed puff pastry into 6 rectangles (approximately 3 inches by 5 inches).
  4. Place half of the chocolate chips on one side of each rectangle.
  5. Roll each rectangle from the short end to enclose the chocolate chips.
  6. Arrange the rolled pastries seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool on a wire rack before dusting with icing sugar and serving.
