Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, for the sauce
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken pieces seasoned with Cajun seasoning until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, melt more butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and milk. Stir in Velveeta until melted, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
