  • 320 g ready rolled puff pastry
  • 400 g beef sausages
  • 100 g apple sauce
  • 20 g dried apples
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 egg (beaten) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan-assisted) or 210°C (non-fan). Line a baking tray.
  2. In a large bowl, remove casings from beef sausages and add apple sauce, dried apples, thyme, and sea salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Cut puff pastry into two long strips. Place sausage mixture along the center of each strip.
  4. Brush one edge of the pastry with beaten egg and roll tightly to seal.
  5. Cut into preferred lengths and place on the tray. Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds and thyme.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
