  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups quick cook grits
  • 8 oz smoked Gouda cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup Half & Half
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add minced garlic and gradually stir in the quick cook grits. Cook according to package instructions until thickened.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in the smoked Gouda and sharp cheddar until melted. Add butter, Half & Half, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper; stir well to combine.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes or until set and lightly browned on top.
